It seems to me that one of the social crisis’s that we are faced with is the move away from personal accountability. The American ideal of pulling oneself up by his bootstraps is dissipating and being replaced by a reliance on my boss, my company, my union, my government, my… In my view, it is time to replace it with the Nike slogan- “Just do it”. No excuses. No blaming others. No waiting for a better time or place. Those three simple words can and will open up new opportunities if only you "Just do it"!
